If you don't, its time you join the talk. P. N. Kapil was born in Gandhinagar, Gujarat in 1986. He completed his Bachelors (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering in 2007 from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, Gujarat. In 2009 he completed his Masters (M.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Apparatus and Systems from Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Since 2009 he is serving as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. A hard-core believer in project-based learning, student-student mentorship and collaborative learning, P. N. Kapil has guided many undergraduate level and postgraduate level student projects and also published technical papers in various forums. He has also been awarded with “Best Paper Award” in one of the international conference. Apart from academics, Kapil has also been a mentor or advisor to student activities like IDEA labs and BAJA SAE at the university. As faculty advisor or mentor of “Team Stallions”, SAE Collegiate Club, Nirma University during BAJA SAE INDIA 2018 at Pithampur, Indore, he was awarded “Dronacharya Award” for his role as best faculty mentor in e-BAJA (Electric Vehicle) category. Kapil firmly believes that students can deliver their best when mentored in a proper way and the best way to do that is through collaborative and peer learning engagement. He believes that peer learning has no boundaries and as a part of his quest & journey as life-long learner he is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Vehicles domain. P. N. Kapil is serving as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department Nirma University.
