Karapur Panchayat Issues Show-Cause Notice to Errichter Infra Pvt. Ltd.

The Village Panchayat of Karapur-Sarvan has issued a show cause notice to Errichter Infra Pvt. Ltd. over land sub-division permissions granted in Karapur village, following objections raised by local residents and resolutions passed in statutory meetings. The notice seeks an explanation from the developer as to why the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) issued for Survey Nos. 148/0 and 176/1 should not be revoked. According to the panchayat, the action follows discussions held in the gram sabha where villagers raised concerns regarding the project and called for corrective measures, including cancellation of earlier permissions. The gram sabha subsequently passed resolutions recommending action on the matter. The issue was later placed before the panchayat meeting, where members also endorsed the decision to proceed with issuance of a show cause notice to the developer. Acting on these resolutions, the panchayat has directed Errichter Infra Pvt. Ltd. to submit its response within 15 days from receipt of the notice, explaining why the NOCs should not be withdrawn.
