Noun- Person, place, thing, or idea 6.) Pronoun- A word that replaces a noun/ noun phrase 7.) Preposition- Links nouns in a sentence Ex. Above, Around, Before, Behind 8.) Verb- An action word Ex. Run, Jump -Know subject, clause, direct & indirect object, phrase, predicate, predicate adjective, & predicate nominative -Know the difference between: Then & Than, Among & Between, Which & That, Who & Whom, Me & I, Fewer & Less, Farther & Further KNOW YOUR PUNCTUATION!!
