BATERIAS MOURA: Do Agreste para o mundo

The year was 1957, and a couple had an idea: to build a car battery factory in a town in the rural Pernambuco region that had no running water, no electricity, and only one car on the road. Crazy? Perhaps, but that's how Baterias Moura was born. Yes, this northeastern giant, which remains a family-owned business today, had a rather peculiar history. Its founders, Edson and Conceição Moura, started producing batteries in their backyard in a town in Pernambuco called Belo Jardim. This town was quite precarious at the time, and to make ends meet, the couple had to open new business opportunities for the company to thrive. Since then, the company has grown, but without facing major challenges, other than having to make difficult decisions that would change the company's history. In this video, you'll learn the Moura family's wonderful entrepreneurial story and how they managed to become a market leader in Brazil and export their products worldwide.
