You Must Try These Restaurants in Columbus Ohio: Episode 3

Is Columbus the ultimate food city in the Midwest? Today we’re taking a deep dive into the legendary Columbus food scene, hitting three iconic spots that everyone needs on their bucket list. From a nostalgic diner to a massive burger featured on "Man vs Food", we are eating some of the best of this magnificent city! 📍 Featured in this Episode: 🍳 STOP 1: George’s Beechwold Diner: We’re starting the day at a true Columbus landmark. George’s Beechwold Diner is the definition of "Old School Cool" with a side of crispy hash browns. The service is fast, the coffee is top tier, and the vibe is pure nostalgia, even though it opened in 2010! Must Try: I had the meat omelette with crispy home fries, sourdough toast, and coffee. Why we love it: It’s arguably one of the best breakfasts in Columbus, but has a friendly neighborhood vibe. -Location: 4408 Indianola Ave, Columbus, OH 43214 🥪 STOP 2: Wario's Beef and Pork (North High St.) For lunch, we headed in to see if the hype is real at Wario’s Beef and Pork. Spoiler: It is. These aren't just sandwiches; they are architectural masterpieces served on seeded semolina rolls. Must Try: "The Steak" (Wario's Way) with house-made whiz and those crispy Wario Spuds on the side. Also, the “Chicken Caeser” is a heavy contender. The Vibe: High-energy, chef-driven street food that could win any sandwich competition. Why we love it: The quality of the ribeye is top-tier, and the portions are absolutely massive, not to mention the side spuds and dipping sauce will put you straight over the top of mind-blowing deliciousness! Locations :4219 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214 🍔 STOP 3: The Thurman Cafe. We ended the night in the historic German Village at a place that has been serving legends since 1942. We came for one thing: The Thurmanator. This burger is a massive mountain of meat, cheese, and toppings that has defeated many brave souls, but also fills the soul with happy love filled calories! Must Try: The Thurmanator Burger (Bring a friend, your entire family... or a forklift). The Vibe: Dimly lit, cozy, close to Ohio State University, and packed with history (and locals). Why we love it: It’s a Columbus rite of passage. The service is incredibly friendly despite the constant crowds! Side Stops - Saraga International Grocery: Come here to shop, or even just view the giant spectacle of international snacks, veggies, fruits, meats, ingredients, and pastries. You will see foods you have never seen before for sure! Location: 1265 Morse Rd, Columbus, OH 43229 Easton Town Center: If you want to burn off the Thurmanator, you might be able to do it here! This is one of the largest and most premier shopping, dining, and entertainment centers in the U.S. and boasts everything from an indoor LEGOLAND theme park to movie theaters, high end shopping, local shopping, and dining that seems endless.
