Visiting The WORST Town In Essex: Jaywick

I went down to Jaywick, the poorest & worst place in Essex that is also ironically one of the worst places to live in the whole United Kingdom. Where poverty is the norm, littering seems advised and regular interactions feel rare.. you can’t get much further out of Essex than Jaywick otherwise you’d be in the water, it severs as kind of Essex’s last stop but also their most forgotten about and neglected town. I always say I’m from Essex but the journey it took me to get here I without a doubt now know I live in London haha. A 1 hour 30 drive from the edge of East London it felt like I was racing against time and going backwards. Streets looked outdated and people looked like the world had mistreated them. A deprived town I left feeling worst about..
