Create a Stencil with the Cameo

It’s important when making a stencil out of vinyl to measure your board or whatever you’re putting your stencil on. 4 Jessica makes her weeding box the same size as her board and it made her project a lot easier to align. So, first measure your board and match your weeding box to that size. Once you’ve cut out your design with your Silhouette Cameo or Cricut, weed it the opposite of what you would normally do. Because this is a stencil you want to weed out the letters and keep the surrounding edge. Then align your design to your board and smooth out with an application tool. After it’s properly adhered, use a few thin coats of paint to fill in your design. It’s all in the painting and weeding technique.
