Super Mega Lucky Box (2021) Number of Players: 1 to 6 players aged 8 and up Designer: Phil Walker-Harding Artist: Serge Seidlitz Number of Players: 2 to 6 players. Objective: Complete number cards to earn points. Components: Number Cards (1 to 9): 18 cards in total, two of each number. Number Cards: 60 different models, each with nine numbers (ranging from 1 to 9). Score Markers: Each player receives one. Whiteboard Markers: To mark the scorecards and score markers. Lightning Bolts and Moons* Tokens that help modify and earn points. Game Setup: 1. Shuffle the Number Cards: Separate 9 cards, which will be used in this round. The other 9 are set aside. 2. Card Distribution:* Each player takes 5 cards, chooses 3, and returns the other 2. 3. Score Markers: Leave them aside with the markers. 4. Lightning Bolt Distribution: Each player starts with 4 lightning bolts. 5. Moons: Place them in the center of the table; no player starts with them. How to Play: 1. Turn Over the First Card: Everyone marks the revealed number on one of their scorecards. 2. Marking Rows and Columns: Completing a row or column grants bonuses such as lightning bolts, moons, stars, or the ability to mark any number. 3. Using Lightning Bolts: Lightning bolts allow you to adjust the value of the revealed card (+1 or -1 per lightning bolt). 4. Bonuses: Some bonuses allow you to mark any number or earn stars. Scoring: Round 1: A full card is worth 15 points. Round 2: 12 points per card. Round 3: 10 points per card. Round 4: 8 points per card. Stars: Mark stars in each round. More stars in the same round increase the score. Moons: The player with the most moons wins 6 extra points, while the player with the fewest loses 6 points. In case of a tie, all tied players either win or lose points. Final Score: Add the points from completed cards, stars, moons, and bonuses. Whoever has the most points wins!
