Just as our world today cannot escape the war against terrorism, we also cannot escape the war against Satan. Whether we like it or not, we are at war. If we ignore the enemy, we put ourselves in a position to lose everything! And in this sermon based on Ephesians 6:10-20, Rev. Hernandes Dias Lopes, in the words of Paul, calls us to “put on the complete armor of God, so that you can stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11). ____ Hernandes Dias Lopes, born in Nova Venécia-ES. Married to Udemilta Pimentel Lopes, father of Mariana and Thiago, daughter-in-law Renata and grandson Bento. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Theology at the Southern Presbyterian Seminary in Campinas, São Paulo, from 1978 to 1981, and his Doctorate in Ministry at the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, in the United States, from 2000 to 2001. He was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Bragança Paulista from 1982 to 1984, and since 1985 he has been the senior pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Vitória. He is also a member of the Evangelical Academy of Letters of Brazil, executive director of Luz para o Caminho, and collaborating pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Pinheiros in São Paulo.
