A new addition to our stallion block is the 14-year-old Jenson van ‘t Meulenhof Z. This impressive son of Vagabond de la Pomme and Narcotique de Muze IV has jumped at the highest level in the sport under Niels Bruynseels. In Barcelona he finished 2nd with the Belgian Team in the Nations Cup Final, shone in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London and frequently qualified himself for the most taxing 5* classes. Niels Bruynseels and Stud farm Zangersheide now join forces to launch Jenson’s career in breeding: ‘With Jenson’s career having come to an end the time has come to finally meet the huge demand from breeders and introduce him to a new chapter as a stud stallion. There has always been a lot of interest for Jenson but I wasn’t prepared to combine the sport with breeding. As a young stallion he was used to service mares with fresh semen, but only for a short time. His exceptional siring qualities now show in his first generations of offspring. Meanwhile his oldest sons and daughters themselves jump at 1.50m level.
