Rebirth of the Huntsville Trolley
For the last two years one of the projects at the Eau Galle Scenic Railway has been the restoration of the Huntsville Trolley. This trolley was constructed in 1986 and ran at the Historic Huntsville Depot Park, it was then acquired by Rick Perry and the Russell County Narrow Gauge Railway who donated it to us in August of 2023. We would like to extend a special thanks to: Rick Perry who donated the trolley and provided photos, William Hampton and Huntsville Revisited who provide photos, Mark Tyler who donated the trolley bell and headlights, Phil "Kiwi" Dawson, John and Jim Feyereisen for their work on the seatbacks and running boards Our little Western Wisconsin railroad is a 36" gauge private project dedicated to the preservation and restoration of old industrial narrow gauge railroading. Music selections curtesy of Artlist include Appalachian Theme by Tony Petersen, Around the Table by Marc Robillard, Stay Humble by The David Roy Collection, and Southern Roots Boogie by Falconer.
