Robots & Empire Audiobook, ch. 7-9, by Isaac Asimov, read by Pam Ward - Chapter 7: The Chairman - Amadiro, who is the chairman of the Robotics Institute on Aurora, is confronted by his rival, Han Fastolfe, who is a leading roboticist and an ally of the Settlers. Fastolfe accuses Amadiro of sabotaging Solaria and endangering the future of the Spacer worlds. He also reveals that he knows about Daneel and Giskard's abilities and that he supports their mission. Chapter 8: The Woman - Gladia Delmarre is questioned by Amadiro's agents, who try to extract information from her about Solaria and the robots. She resists their interrogation and asserts her loyalty to Baley, Daneel, and Giskard. She also expresses her desire to join the Settlers and explore new worlds. Chapter 9: The Partner - D.G. Baley reunites with Gladia and tells her that he has secured Earth's support for their cause. He also confesses his love for her and proposes marriage. She accepts his proposal and agrees to become his partner in life and in space colonization.
