María Elvira Salazar, Republican congresswoman for Florida's 27th district, addressed the Colombian presidential runoff election this Sunday, reaffirming her support for opposition candidate Abelardo de la Espriella. De la Espriella, it should be noted, faces Senator Iván Cepeda of the ruling party in the runoff, whom he surprisingly defeated in the first round held on May 31.
