People don't notice how they fall victim to the leaven of the Pharisees. The whole problem lies in the corrupt human heart, which, under the influence of the devil, seeks to adapt God to serve itself. True worship of God is the result of His love in the sacrifice of Christ, which God revealed to the world. Having known this love, a person is ready to change. Without knowing this love, a person is ready to adapt. This is the essence of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy, and it expresses itself as external religiosity instead of internal piety.
