R211T G Train Ride from Church Avenue to Court Square

On March 4th, 2025, one set of the R211Ts was transferred from the C and entered service on the G line (4055-4059). These trains feature open gangways, new FIND displays and screens, and wider doors. Along with the 20 cars on the C and G lines, an additional 80 open gangway R211T cars have been ordered. This is all part of MTA’s modernization investments. This also marks the return of New Technology Trains (NTTs) on the G lines with newer trains after the aging R46, R68, and R68As returned to the line.
