1950's New Haven 8mm Films by Alan Thomas
This New Haven 8mm film is part of the Alan Thomas collection that i've been able to acquire over the years. Scenes are from various locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts and include Taunton, Whitman, Abington, Hyannis, Boston area and many other locations. To finish it out includes a cab ride and various other scenes along the Berkshire line between Danbury and Pittsfield. Hopefully everyone enjoys this throwback to the past. A longtime project i've wanted to do is digitize some of the 8mm railroad movies I have acquired over the years. Wanted to see how they look on Youtube before I made any more. Looking for opinions on quality and other software other then iMovie to clean them up. For the transfer to digital i'm using the Wolverine MovieMaker Pro setup. I hope everyone enjoys this never before seen footage and look forward to doing more in the future.
