Obj 265T: Slow Grind, Fast Death - World of Tanks
Obj 265T: Slow Grind, Fast Death - World of Tanks A project for a heavy tank adapted for use with individual floating equipment. Developed in the second half of the 1950s on the initiative of the Mobile Vehicle Engineering Institute (VNII-100). Following detailed development, it was given the designation Object 265 and was presented for the approval of the Commander of Armored and Mechanized Forces of the Soviet Army. Despite great attention to unconventional layouts, including placing the engine-transmission compartment at the front, the military no longer considered the tank's development as promising. In addition, the degree of novelty in the new tank's control systems, with the driver being located in the turret, put off the potential client. The project was closed in order to work on enhancing the T-10 tank (Object 730). #worldoftanks #worldoftanksreplays #wotreplays #wot
