Defeat in the restoration of the SHARP Boombox GF-9696

This video is not my successful restoration video, but my defeat of the restoration of the SHARP GF-9696. As usual, I started the restoration by opening the outer casing, and I found out and was shocked that it was a hundred of the cockroaches' haunted house. They were everywhere. Between the capacitors, inside of the cassette deck, next to the volume pod, etc... After cleaning the whole body, I started working with cassette deck. The motor wasn't spinning at all. So I opened it and found out it caught fire. I did not know what ignited fire. The brushes are broken, and commuter was also broken. I replaced the broken parts from the other SHARP boombox. I wanted to replace the whole motor, but this GF-9696 has speed adjustment feature and the motor needs 3 pins instead of 2 or 4 pins. So I needed to use the circuit board on this motor even it has burnt mark. After the parts replacement the motor started to spin, however, I found out another problem. It did not stop spinning unless the AC power cord is removed. Even though the main power switch and cassette deck's power switch were both off, it kept spinning. I decided to check the cassette deck's power switch which was the leaf switch. I checked it with a multimeter, then I removed it to see the inside condition. But it turned out that this switch was not broken. Before I put the leaf switch back to the original place, I tested the motor again. This time, the power switch for the cassette deck is removed, so there was no way that motor would be able to spin. However, it spun. After more than 20 hours of work, I decided to call it off. Not only the technical issues, but my skin started showing allergy reaction. Probably from the filthy contents inside. The GF-9696 will sleep inside of the box until another GF-9696 comes to me.
