Anthony “Gaspipe” Casso rose from South Brooklyn to become underboss of the Lucchese crime family. Known for extreme violence and paranoia, he was involved in major events like the 1986 failed bombing targeting John Gotti and internal Mafia killings. After his 1993 arrest, Casso pleaded guilty to 70 crimes, including 15 murders, and exposed corruption involving NYPD detectives Stephen Caracappa and Louis Eppolito.
