These matches were played on: 05/25/26 ///// DECK DESCRIPTION ///// The EPIC Storm (TES) is a four-color Legacy Storm combo deck built around fast mana, powerful engine cards, and flexible win conditions. The goal is to chain spells together using cards like Dark Ritual, Lion’s Eye Diamond, Lotus Petal, and Mox Opal before converting that mana into payoff spells such as Beseech the Mirror, Echo of Eons, and Burning Wish. TES wins by generating a high Storm count and finishing with Tendrils of Agony, making a pile of Goblins with Empty the Warrens, or even Approach of the Second Sun to beat The One Ring. GOING BACK TO GREEN! It's been a minute since I sleeved up Green in TES! After the recent bannings, we're testing the waters with The EPIC Storm, cutting White entirely to make room for old favorites. We're returning to Veil of Summer and it just feels right in a meta filled with tempo decks and Orcish Bowmasters. Having the protection for Echo of Eons, along with Boseiju, Who Endures, gives us the flexibility to force our combo through when it counts most! We're also making a huge return to Thoughtseize. While Silence has its perks, being able to proactively rip a Trinisphere or Karn, the Great Creator out of the opponent’s hand is exactly what this deck needs right now. It is a bit of a trade-off since it doesn’t completely stop a drawn Mindbreak Trap post Echo of Eons, but honestly, I'm not so sure that matters when the raw information Thoughtseize provides is this valuable.
