Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT FIRST DRIVE on the STREET

Monterey Car Week is always full of surprises and this definitely tops off the list of experiences from 2019. The Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT is a GT1 classed race car and is only 1 of 9 in existence, this being the Krohn-Barbour Racing R-GT that raced in the 2004 American Le Mans Series. This was the first time the car has been publicly shown as well since after it completed its racing program in 2004. It was shown at The Quail among so many other hypercars it would make you dizzy. Regardless the Murcielago R-GT attracted so much attention from the die hard car enthusiasts. Since 2004 the car was in California for a few years before ending up in Asia where the livery was removed and the car was parked not to be driven again until my friend Jordan Roddy from Bespoke Motor Cars in Australia bought the car. He meticulously went over the car visually and mechanically restoring it and ended up giving the R-GT a new life as if it were rolling out of the factory for the first time. Also the car looks identical to how it raced in 2004! I bet this is the first time you are learning about the Murcielago R-GT GT1 race car and it is the ultimate Murcielago, sorry LP670 SV! My dream garage would consist of a R-GT, LP670 SV, and a LP640 Roadster though. Thank you Jordan for the incredible experience!!
