Systemic Changes - Hematological Changes - Increased Blood volume, increase Blood plasma & blood cells, Hemodilution state, increase WBC, increased coagulation factors (Hypercoagulable state) More water retention (hypervolemia state), activation of RAAS & decreased osmotic threshold increases thirst in a woman, weight gain around 11-12 kg. Cardiovascular changes - Increase CO, SV & HR decrease in SVR & BP. Displacement of heart. Respiratory changes- Increased Tidal volume, hyperventilation state, chest circumference increases, Residual capacity decreases.
