Riding Greek island of KEFALONIA - Motorcycle tour - (Rose island)

Kefalonia or Cephalonia nickname "Rose island" . Laurie, our Canadian friend, came up with the name after hearing about my wife's "Rose" passion for this island. Here are a few clips from our time there, featuring several friends who we believe share our love for the island. What are the first things that come to mind? Swimming, fishing, snorkeling, and boating are some of our favorite pastimes here The People: Captain Orestis Hotel in Agia Effimia village - and his getting up 5am to prepare coffee for us so we don't miss the ferry! Cooking: On the campfire, preparing a traditional barbeque supper Ribs, grilled chicken, and barbecued wild goose in a ceramic pot, other times BBQ fish and octopus and much more to right here. Visiting the Greek tavernas for local food and music. Riding: Every day we ride to Myrtos beach to watch the sunset from the top or from the beach Ride over the mountain passage hidden from the tourist route without cars just pure nature. Riding to old monasteries or watch the wild horses on top of the mountain Walking: by the harbor or visiting old towns and villages.
