There, he meets his future partner, to whom he explains that he is actually a human and not a Pokémon. After two Pokémon steal an item called a Relic Fragment, they defeat the villains, join forces to form an exploration team, and decide to train at the Wigglytuff Guild. Within the guild, they receive a variety of exploration and rescue missions, which they carry out on behalf of the Wigglytuff Guild. They quickly discover that the protagonist possesses an ability that allows him to see into the future.
