Wandern in Südtirol - Glener Hochalm&Wasserfall, Ruine Kaldiff und Altstadt von Neumarkt(4k, 2025)

The circular hike starts from the parking lot at the Sleeping Giant in Neumarkt and continues through the recreation area up to the Glener high alpine pasture, stopping at the bridges over the Trudner Bach stream and its water steps. On the Hochalm, a detour to the viewpoint of the Kaldiff Castle ruins (1172) is included. It then continues up to the Hermann Hof farm and down to the Glener Waterfall in the Trudner Horn Nature Park. From there, it climbs to the Kaldiff Castle ruins, which were closed in August 2025 due to the danger of collapse. The hike then continues through the vineyards down to Neumarkt and through the old town with its arcaded streets. Then, continue through Neustadt to the starting point of the hike.
