BCF2000 and Reaper

The Behringer BCF2000 is connected to my IMac with a USB cable. The BCF2000 is placed into Mackie/Cubase mode by pressing and hold the 2nd button from the left - top row while powering on the unit. Rotate the 1sr rotary encoder on the left to assure the unit is in u1 mode, then press exit. The unit will remember the mode the next time you turn it on, The top row of 8 rotary encoders control Panning. The ring LEDs indicate the pan position. Press the encoder to re-center. The top row of 8 buttons control Mute and Solo per channel, Press and hold upper shift to go to Solo mode. The next row of 8 buttons control Track Select and Record Ready per channel. Press and hold upper shift to go to Record Ready mode. The 8 Faders control the track volume per channel. The top group of 4 buttons to the right are: top left - upper shift bottom left - lower shift top right - flip bottom right - not used Press upper shift and flip to switch the pan and volume faders functions, so that the faders control the panning and the rotary encoders control the volume - useful in delicate adjustments writing automation. Press the same button combination again to return the functions to normal The next group of 4 buttons are: top left - Write Automation mode (with lower shift) bottom left - Read Automation mode (with lower shift) top right - Save Project (with upper shift) bottom right Latch Automation mode (with lower shift) The next group of 4 buttons are: top left - Bank of 8 Channels Left (or single channel left with upper shift) top right - Bank of 8 Channels Right (or single channel right with upper shift) bottom left - Cursor Left (or Drop Markers with lower shift) bottom right - Cursor Right The last 2 buttons are: left - Stop (or activate Metronome with upper shift, activate Loop with lower shift) right - Play/Pause (or Record with upper shift)
