Precision Bass Pickup Shootout: Fralin vs Fender
Was curious to try a new pickup in my precision bass so I thought I'd make a comparison video. My original pickup was a Fender Pure Vintage '63. New pickup (cream covers) is the Lindy Fralin stock wind. Strings are broken-in D'Addario Chromes 45-100. Bass is a lightweight swamp ash body, neck is rosewood board on maple. Fender pickups measured at 11.63k, Fralin at 11.24k Bass is recorded direct through the UA Apollo into Logic, with no EQ or compression.
