DIY CNC Mill: Welding Gantry Risers
Welding of the two gantry risers for the CNC milling machine. These risers will support the upper Z-axis and Y-axis of the mill. They are designed so the 2-axis trunnion can travel underneath the upper mill axes. Constructed from thick walled steel tube and 1" cold rolled flat bar. They are welded with Lincoln Innershield NR-211-MP which is a flux-cored mild steel MIG wire.
