Mobile Hebebühne / Kipplift San Antonio von Wematik - Erfahrungsbericht nach zwei Jahren Gebrauch

This video introduces the "San Antonio" mobile car lift. It's designed for vehicles up to 1.5 tons and can be powered by a drill. ►Find sources here: http://box6014.webnode.com/ifa-youngt... The following report is based on two years of use in a hobby setting. A universal joint is included for powering the lift. The connection is made using the included 12 mm hex socket. Testing showed that a 500 W drill is insufficient to lift a car. According to the manufacturer, a drill with at least 1000 W is recommended. For long-term testing, a 1500 W rotary hammer was used. This provided ample power reserves and should be able to withstand heavy loads even over extended periods. If the drill's direction of rotation cannot be reversed, it can be attached to the opposite end of the shaft for lowering. An impact wrench is unsuitable as a drive mechanism because the impacts put too much stress on the material. Dimensions: The support plates, coated with hard rubber, are adjustable in width. This allows for an internal dimension of 1.18 m to 1.25 m. To lift a Skoda Fabia 1 without damaging the underbody paneling, the tilting lift required some minor modifications, resulting in a maximum internal dimension of approximately 1.28 m. The original external dimension of the support plates is between 1.45 m and 1.52 m. The minimum height, and therefore the minimum ground clearance between the axles, is 15 cm. Most lowered vehicles or vehicles with low-hanging exhausts will likely have problems with this. In some cases, the vehicle was driven onto shims to achieve the necessary ground clearance. There should be at least 1.05 m of space next to the vehicle. This allows the tilting lift to be slid diagonally under the vehicle from above. It can then be rotated 90° under the vehicle to reach the operating position. A sufficiently long wheelbase is required for this. The tilting lift can be moved by one person. The attached casters are helpful for this. These are the manufacturer's specifications. Links to further information and videos can be found in the video description. A footprint of 1.64 m x 15 cm is required to store the tilting lift. Wall mounting is recommended to prevent it from tipping over. Finally, an important safety note: To work safely under the raised vehicle, it must be secured with separate axle stands! The tilting lift itself has no safety devices to prevent unintentional lowering. The required axle stands are not included. Conclusion: The requirements of "practical handling" and "space-saving storage when not in use" were fully met. Assuming that the poor workmanship on the tested unit was an isolated incident, the overall rating for the Wematik tilting lift in the hobby sector is "good."
