Episode #5 - Auto-Trail Imala 715 - So Close, but not the ONE Our search for the perfect motorhome continues at Wellsbridge Motorhomes in Huntingdon, and this time we're taking a closer look at a 2016 Auto-Trail Imala 715. This was one of the motorhomes that initially caught our attention and played a big part in why we made the trip in the first place. On first impressions, it's easy to see why. The exterior looks smart, the rear washroom is spacious, and the separate shower is one of the better bathroom layouts we've seen so far. The fixed French bed offered plenty of length, but the mattress felt softer than we would ideally like. We also noticed a few compromises elsewhere, including a smaller fridge, older heating system, limited external storage and only two travelling seat belts. Compared to some of the other motorhomes we viewed, it also felt more like a solid entry-level model than a premium touring vehicle. Despite that, the Imala stayed in our thoughts long after we left. It wasn't perfect, but it had enough positives to make us stop and think. Sometimes the hardest decisions aren't the motorhomes you immediately reject, but the ones that almost convince you. Join us as we continue our search and find out why the Auto-Trail Imala 715 ultimately wasn't the one for us. Thanks for watching and following our journey.
