Dr Setu Sinha wanted to become a pilot while growing up. However, destiny had different plans for him. After finishing his ISc from Patna Science College, he decided to become a doctor. Since then, it has been an eventual journey. After completing his MD from Katihar, he joined IGIMS Patna. Now, he's the deputy medical superintendent and an additional professor in community medicine. In this interview, Dr Sinha tells us about growing up in Patna, the challenges of the health sector in Bihar, and the steps IGIMS and the state government have taken to meet them.
