Vlog 125, Narrowboat fit out - PAINTING HER NAME AND FIRST FEW WEEKS OF CRUISING

Hello Everyone, Well it has been a exciting few weeks on the water and we have learnt so much about Wanderlust. We have had some great weather mixed with some terrible weather from storm Babet which caused havoc with the heavy rain flooding half of the Uk. We managed to leave the river the day before the flood gates and locks closed and we were safe where we moored. We changed our plans a while ago because Nanny has some problems with her hip and leg that are being treated at the moment but may need a op in the very near future. We decided to take a winter mooring in a marina which has always been something we said we never would want to do but we now feel we made the right decision for this year. Also it is going to make it a lot easier to get back to our lock up to finish off the stuff for the boat. 👍
