Frankly, it has no direct connection to underground structures (although in theory, it could have been used in them). But it so happened that it was sent to us as a gift by our subscriber, Dmitry from Bryansk. We liked it so much and it fit so seamlessly into our communications center's display that we couldn't resist placing it there and connecting it. Especially since this device is highly interactive. However, the one Dmitry sent us was incomplete, so we ended up buying another one. This device is called the AK-5M and records audio messages up to one minute long on a looped magnetic tape. It works like an automatic telephone: as soon as a call comes in, it picks up the receiver and plays the message from the tape.
