Loupra Extend: A New Web Application for Woodlot Owner Support Kari Easthouse Forest Analyst, Kari Easthouse Resource Consulting The 2026 Central Woodland Conference was held on Saturday, May 2nd at Maple Ridge Elementary in Lantz, Nova Scotia. The Woodland Conferences are organized annually by a hardworking committee of representatives from several Nova Scotia groups interested in forestry. This year, our provincial committee included partners from the Nova Scotia Department of Resources, Nova Scotia Woodlot Owners and Operators Association (Provincial Coordinator), Association for Sustainable Forestry, Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute, Nova Scotia Community College, Forest Nova Scotia, Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq, and several private woodlot owners.
