Marvel Turned the Avengers into Fantasy Heroes.....and it RULED!
/ discord Marvel has done a LOT of weird things over the years… but turning the Avengers into high fantasy heroes might be one of my favorites. In 2000 Marvel released Avataars: Covenant of the Shield — a strange, forgotten fantasy reimagining of the Marvel Universe filled with magical versions of classic Avengers characters, incredible designs, bizarre lore and pure early 2000s comic book energy. And honestly? I absolutely love it. Today we’re diving into this obscure Marvel mini series, looking at the fantasy counterparts to classic Avengers heroes, the world of Eurth, the amazing character designs, and why this odd little comic deserves way more attention than it gets. If you enjoy deep dives into obscure comics, forgotten Marvel history, weird alternate universes and old school comic book insanity, you’re in the right place. #Marvel #Avengers #Comics #MarvelComics #Fantasy #ComicBooks #HaussmannComics #Avataars #ObscureComics #ComicBookHistory #haussmann the music you hear underneath is from the Capcom Beat Em Up Knights of the Round
