CAR DOES NOT START AFTER CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPLACEMENT OR NOT RUNNING RIGHT FORD LINCOLN MERCURY If you replaced crankshaft position sensor on Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury car and the car does not start after the crankshaft position sensor replacement or the car does not run good after the crankshaft position sensor replacement we will explain what could cause that. In some cases but not all you may need to align the crankshaft position sensor / calibrate the crankshaft position sensor. Every car has its own method of doing that so consult your service manual but it the slots on the crankshaft position sensor allows it to move up and down then you need to align it. In some cases you may need to even relearn the crankshaft position sensor with scanner in order to work correctly but not very often.
