BMW IBS Intelligent Battery Sensor Replacement

This works on many BMW cars from 2006 on like the e90, e91, e92, e60, etc. The IBS or Intellengent battery sensor monitors the battery and provides charging instruction to the alternator based on the usage and overall life of the battery. And it works too -- my OEM battery lasted 9 years! However this component is fragile and in my case got killed by an over voltage failure of the alternator. It's a quick and easy replacement process.
