Birthday spankings? This topic came up in a story conversation a few days ago and wow did it bring back memories for people. I wanted to summarize some of what I heard from you all and invite you to share more in the comments if you like. Did your community practice “birthday spankings”? Do they still? What thoughts and observations do you have on this cultural practice?
