솔라시도, 다급해진 도로망 확충...2년 남았다

With the establishment of the National AI Computing Center in Solasido and the increasing likelihood of its designation as the first RE100 pilot industrial complex, the expansion of the road network is becoming a critical urgency. To ensure the computing center is established as planned by 2028, the construction of a dedicated road is being considered alongside the ongoing expansion and paving of the provincial road between Masan and Sani. The access roads and roads near the site, undertaken by the joint venture Seonamhaean Enterprise City Development, have been well-paved. However, the Solasido Bridge, whose utility was previously doubted, has come into the spotlight in a relatively short period thanks to the attraction of the National AI Computing Center. The issue lies in expanding the connecting road network in the hinterland of the Haenam region, where residential conditions will be established. Fortunately, the first phase of the four-lane expansion and paving of the provincial road between Masan and Sani in Haenam is currently underway. However, it is expected to take a short time for the remaining sections, which are scheduled to begin construction before the completion of the first phase, to open. Haenam County plans to actively pursue the construction of a dedicated road connecting to Haenam-eup to rapidly spread the benefits of the energy self-sufficient city. Haenam Solasido, where the construction of the Global Data Center and the RE100 Pilot Complex—including the already selected National AI Computing Center—is within sight. There are only about two years left to establish minimum living conditions, such as the expansion of the basic road network.
