Operation Cerberus North 2 | Mission 7: RIFLE! Welcome back to the campaign! In Mission 7, we are taking the fight to the ground, but it requires precision timing and strict adherence to the flight plan. We are hunting high-value targets, including moving T-90 tanks, using a mix of Maverick missiles, JDAMs, and laser-guided bombs. 💡 Mission Tips & Tactics: The Maverick Sweet Spot: Fire your Maverick missile the exact second the TTMR hits 0. Before you pickle, double-check that your Laser Designator switch is ON. The Shallow Dive: Firing a Maverick requires a shallow dive of about 5 degrees. Post-Launch Evasion (Watch the Border!): Immediately after weapon release, bank RIGHT (Do NOT bank left, or you will violate Russian airspace!). Initiate a hard bank of 130 to 150 degrees while climbing. Use your FLIR display to monitor your exact bank angle. Altitude is Life: If you can stay above 15,000 feet (Angels 15), you're in a good spot. Pushing up above Angels 21 is even safer from ground threats. Electronic Warfare: Don't forget to set up your Chaff and Flare programs in the EW suite during pre-flight or ingress. You will need them when the SAMs start tracking you! Use the EW to plan your ingress and egress to target to reduce SAM threat range. Good luck out there.
