48 Hours of Eating in Hualien - Nature, Food and Our Goodbye to Taiwan

We spent our last days in Taiwan in Hualien, taking things slowly by the sea and exploring the coast. We biked around, tried more vegetarian food 美食 than we expected to find, and followed a few lovely recommendations from our friend Ching‑Ya that made the days feel even more special. We visited Qixingtan 七星潭, stopped by Qingshui Cliff 清水斷崖, and drove into Taroko Gorge 太魯閣 to see how the area is recovering after the 2024 earthquake. Even with many places still closed, the nature felt peaceful and calming. Hualien gave us so many small moments of kindness. Taiwan has been incredibly welcoming throughout this trip, and we’re really grateful to everyone who has been following our journey in Taiwan. We hope to be back soon!
