❄️ SHINKULA PASS OPENING 2026 | EXTREME SNOW CONDITIONS ON THE ZANSKAR–MANALI ROUTE 🏔️🚙 In this episode of my Mumbai to Ladakh expedition, I finally crossed the legendary Shinkula Pass after it officially opened — and the conditions were absolutely insane. Massive snow walls, frozen roads, slush, black ice, and nonstop Himalayan views made this one of the craziest drives of the entire road trip. Located at an altitude of around 16,500+ feet, Shinkula Pass connects Zanskar Valley to Himachal Pradesh and is one of the newest and most remote high-altitude mountain routes in India. Because the pass had only recently opened, there was fresh snow everywhere, BRO snow clearance machines on the roads, and dangerous driving conditions across the mountains. This route felt completely raw and untouched.
