Toyota MR-S (W30) in Racing Games | The Last MR2
The Toyota MR-S/MR2 Spyder in racing games everyone! It was finally time for me to get to Toyota's mid-engined Sports Car. For some reason, I just plain wanted to showcase this one first. Kinda like with the Mazda RX-7 when I showed the FD before the SA/FB. I liked how this generation looked if I'm honest. The only thing shameful is that I often forget that this car exists. When I look at early 2000s sports cars, I will think of the Mazda NB Miata, Honda S2000, Porsche Boxster, and Lotus Elise. But I always forget about this MR2 Spyder, kinda a shame. Yeah, I finally gave in and bought both. SRS was quite easy to get since it was on Steam and Juiced 1 was bought in a Jewel case. With that said, I'm probably going to eventually collect other PC ports of my PS2 games including the first 2 NFS Undergrounds. It'll probably be easier than just upgrade my PC to run good quality footage of the same games on PCSX2. So yeah, I decided to splice footage of the pre & post facelift of each model together again. I don't know how often I'm going to keep doing this Just in case you haven't read my status, I haven't included race cars like the Autobacs MR-S or R: Racing Evolution's VM180 Race Car for consistency reasons. I don't like recording race cars in the same video as the road car unless there's not many games including both.
