The Midas L6 500 Series Chassis and Why I decided to Send It Back

Today I share my reasons why the Midas L6 500 series chassis is not for me and my reasons to send it back to Sweetwater. The Midas L6 500 series chassis is a great gateway 500 series chassis that is well made. Except for a few minor issues this chassis is and outstanding bargain. The biggest issue I faced was that the power supply created a electro magnetic hum problem when using it with my high quality preamps. Knowing that I wanted to permanently rack a series of compressors and having daisy chained a preamp compressor unit as an experiment the hum would not allow me to utilize it in that fashion. That’s my experience and your’s may differ. If you don’t have as comprehensive a setup as I do then you should give this chassis a try. ------------------- Have a question for me?
