This event is part of Poetry Lessons, a series of meetings that aims to offer analysis and reflections on the great protagonists of Italian and international poetry. Poetry Lessons is organized by the Corriere della Sera Foundation with the contribution of Intesa Sanpaolo. The meeting is organized as part of BookCity Milano. Lesson by Luca Daino, associate professor of Contemporary Italian Literature at the University of Milan, specializes in twentieth-century poetry and fiction set in Milan. He has written several essays on Raboni, published in journals and collective volumes. In 2021, he also dedicated a monograph to him: "I bagliori degli spigoli. Giovanni Raboni tra modernismo e fenomenologia" (Mimesis). In 2019, he edited a collection of Raboni reviews for Mondadori: "Meglio star zitti? Scritti militanti su letteratura cinema teatro" (Better to keep quiet? Militant writings on literature, cinema, theater). In 2011, he edited, with Juan Carlos Reche, a Spanish edition of Raboni's first poetry collection: Gesta Romanorum (Vaso Roto, Madrid).
