Panasonic Active TAWERS Robot Welding Active Wire Control

This robotic system is a Panasonic Active TAWERS Robotic Welding System, which has the ability to weld metals with extremely low spatter levels. This is achieved by an Active Wire Process, where in addition to electronic control of the waveform the welding wire direction is also reversed many times per second to control the wire transfer. Panasonic TAWERS Robotic Systems are fully manufactured by Panasonic Welding Systems of Japan, providing seamless integration between the Robot Manipulator, Robot Controller, Servo Controlled Wire Feed Systems, Welding Power Source and Robotic Welding Process Software. The System shown is a Panasonic TA1400WG3 TAWERS robot system, with additional Servo Motor controlled Wire Feeder within the welding torch & wire booster system to create the Active TAWERS System.
