1973 F-250 with a Fitech 428 and AC

Check out this beautiful restored 1973 Ford F-250 owned by @mjeremy3800, his dad and grandpa. "This project started off as a senior project at Nevada union school after I talked my grandpa into letting me take it to the roamin angels car show at the NC fairgrounds. After taking second place in the high school division I was hooked. Originally it was supposed to be a "tune up", but as we started, I noticed that we just kept going and going. Before I knew it I was 4 bolts away from taking the cab off of a rolling chassis that had been fully stripped and painted. Unfortunately with having a full time job at riebes auto parts I couldn't help my grandpa as much as I wanted to, but when I did, man was it cool. All of a sudden I'm installing a brand new 428 FE and a fully rebuilt and upgraded np435 and np203 transfer case married unit out a 1977½ ford F-250. After talking with you guys down at WFO there was no way my grandpa was putting that divorced unit back in. Along with the help of the 1977 we were able to get rid of the drum front brakes and upgraded to disc and eliminated the power "assist" steering and installed an actual gear box out of the 77 as well. The rear axle was updated to the more modern Dana 60 with the 32 spline axles instead of the 16 spline it came with and that complimented the new dana 44 front very well. Once we got all the main drivetrain components installed, my grandpa hit the ground running on the body work and paint. All together we have roughly 3 years in this truck and as we can all see it was well worth it."
