Convicted felon on federal probation opens fire on woman, back on the run, agents say

A man convicted in a 2010 manslaughter case and currently on federal probation is once again wanted and back on the run. Jermaine Carmichael, 36, of Baltimore, is wanted for attempted 1st-degree murder and for violating his federal probation, the US Marshals Service confirmed. On Halloween night, Carmichael is accused of opening fire on a woman outside her home in southwest Baltimore’s Mt Clare neighborhood on October 31, 2023. According to investigators, the woman told police Carmichael approached her and another woman as they were cleaning out her car, and pointed a gun at her.
