4万円のCBに釣られてRF200-800を買った話

The EOS R5 Mark II is capable of blackout-free pre-continuous shooting at 30 frames per second. The appeal of the camera is that you can take as many continuous shots of wild birds, airplanes, and animals at the zoo as you want, so you want a telephoto or super telephoto zoom lens that can take advantage of its AF and continuous shooting capabilities. At that time, as if it had read my mind, the RF200-800mm F6.3-9 IS USM was the first cashback, and the cashback amount was a great deal at 40,000 yen. I was unable to resist the temptation, so I waited for Yodobashi Camera to open on the first day of the cashback campaign and purchased the RF200-800. I had the store take it out of the box, cut out the barcode on the box, and put it in my wallet along with the receipt and warranty. This way, even if I leave the box behind or it gets stolen, there will be no damage (lol). Then, I went straight to the last remaining Kawazu cherry tree in Yoyogi Park to take a picture of Sakujiro. This is where this video begins. This is the first time I've used the RF200-800 with the EOS R5 Mark II. Please enjoy the live view of chasing a Japanese white-eye with an 800mm angle of view. In the second half, I will use an 8K resolution chart to seriously compare the resolution performance at full aperture for each focal length range with the RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM and EF100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS USM. I will also publish many examples of photos taken with the RF200-800 so far, and display them at 100% pixel size on a 4K monitor, so if you are interested in the RF200-800, please take a look at its depiction performance. As usual, this is a long video of just under 40 minutes (lol), so please jump to the chapter below if necessary. By the way, please note that this video is not intended to promote the RF100-500L (lol). It's a convenient and excellent super telephoto zoom lens for use alone. 00:00 First shot of Kawazu cherry blossoms and a white-eye with the RF200-800 and the R5m2 06:45 A temperature rise warning message appeared, but... 13:57 Example of Kawazu cherry blossoms and a white-eye 15:22 They say the 800mm telephoto end is too soft 16:25 Serious resolution performance comparison with the 8K resolution chart 21:17 Announcement of resolution measurement results 28:46 Examples of RF200-800 shots taken so far 35:50 1600mm super telephoto lens with the Extender RF2x
