In the third and final part, we first head over the Simplon Pass directly to Gondo on the Italian border. Milan is only 120 km away. However, we turn right before the border to visit the small village of Gondo. Afterwards, we take the shuttle bus to the gold mine. Before that, though, we have to walk through the forest for quite a while. At the gold mine, we find bread and beer, but no gold. The evening ends, as always, with a barbecue and a little beer. The wine in bags is also discussed.
